Hi Everyone!

Do you care about our environment? Do you like travelling? Do you like walking? Do you like interacting with other people? If yes, you may like the idea of a walking holiday. By a walking holiday I mean a trip to a distance place (let's say up to 200 km for a start) on foot. This would allow you to visit the countryside we pass, to get the feel of the nature (I imagine we would walk on country roads, far away from big traffic), maybe you would get the chance to get to know some local people, and visit some interesting places on the way. You wouldn't use any cars, trains, nor buses - this would be travelling without polluting the air with CO2. I don't have any particular place in mind, but it would have to be something interesting as far as the countryside and/or culture/history is concerned. Any volunteers? Tell us what you think.

Here are two participants of the Global Footsteps 11 conference in Jamaica. We are having great fun exploring this wonderful country, but also learning about our environment and ways to improve its condition. We've just establish the blog for everyone interested to join in.
